A Collaborative Professional Development And Its Impact On Teachers The purpose of learning labs is to learn together about practice and develop shared, collaborative practices. in this spirit, all participants engage in the learning, planning, and enactment of the lesson. Teacher labs are three hour sessions where teachers from across disciplines come together to focus on one area of improvement, such as student engagement. the session is facilitated by an instructional specialist who guides participants through a defined protocol for teacher growth. Based on the findings presented above, this study is targeting research results from collaborative professional development in the classroom context, aiming to enhance teachers’ skills to enhance inclusive education. Building on the perspective of collaborative knowledge building, this study examined teachers’ interaction patterns during these meetings. connections were explored between teachers’ self perceived learning gains from a plc and the interaction patterns that occurred. In january 2022, northwest evaluation association (nwea) partnered with core learning, a subsidiary of unbounded, to offer collaborative professional learning to educators with one of nwea’s large school system clients in alaska. In this study, we're going to dig into why collaborative leadership matters for teacher professional development. we'll look at real examples, ask teachers what they think, and figure out how schools can make collaborative leadership work best for them.
