Still Better Than Console Pcmasterrace Do y'all still think pcgaming is better than consoles due to price hikes? alright, so i'm a pcmasterrace person and generally prefer pc over consoles for just how much better they are overall. It's a curse as a pc gamer and i usually end up spending more time on my son's consoles, a mix of playing with them or taking over my youngest's ps5 to play gran turismo 7 myself, than my own gaming pc.
Still Better Than A Console R Pcmasterrace We're not living the 90's any more. pc hardware is cheaper today than it has ever been! in fact, you can build a pc right now that will outperform "next gen" consoles, as well as do ten times more, for a fraction of the cost that you think you'll spend. I’ve been playing consoles for over 30 years and had every ps system 1 5 but pc is leaps and bounds better than a console will ever be. you don’t have to buy the absolute highest end premium parts. Personally most of my friends many of whom have been pc gamers for much of their lives, also have consoles and many also got started with consoles (myself included), especially for games that aren't on pc, i myself still have and play xbox 360, and my ps2 for much the same reason. Consoles have come a long way since the red ring of death and that’s a good thing – players wouldn’t look too kindly upon that now. sure, your console may still malfunction for any number of reasons, and that is something that can’t be avoided, but in the majority of cases, it probably won’t happen.

Is there a new master now? pc has always been heralded as the master race of gaming for its flexibility, power, and customization. pc gaming has never had a fair match until this generation. now, consoles run at 4k resolution and have more flexibility than ever before. I also find myself using my console more for couch multiplayer games, as its more portable than my desktop and sits easier in my livingroom. there is also the fact that consoles are pretty standardized in their hardware so their games tend to experience less bugs and crashes. The only thing consoles have going for them is convenience, but its a walled prison with low ceilings. There are those that consider themselves “pc master race”, and there are those that aren’t into the whole pc gaming thing, so they do whatever they wish with consoles. and it leaves me.
