If you intend to leave the lines visible then lineart is pretty much the most important part of your image and it's a good idea to spend as much time on it as you need and don't rush. good, clean lineart will make even a beginner artwork look much better. and it's a good practise in general. Practice some lineart and relax your way back into creative drawing again.
